Controversially, I decided to go with degreaser, hot water pressure wash, 45% phosphoric acid, wire brush attachment, scraper, smooth black Hammerite, 3mm mild steel sheet (for patching) and MiG welder. Once the complete chassis is done, I will wax oil the underneath of the complete vehicle.

Purchasing and saving money on an aftermarket auxiliary battery to extinguish the eco light and restore the eco start/stop function. A BMS (Battery Management System) reset is not needed and doesn’t require a visit to a dealership. Starting and driving the vehicle is required to cycle/reset eco light and eco start/stop function.
