Replacing the main drive belt is part of regular maintenance on any vehicle. If the belt is cracked, torn or starts to squeal it should be replaced. It should also be replaced about every 40k miles or so.

1st attempt at fixing the middle inserts of my Porsche 944 seats. I’ve never sewed anything before, but thought I’d give it a go, so don’t judge too harshly. I know I could buy seats or new covers but I wanted to learn something new.

I finally dug through my receipts and figured out exactly how much it cost me to replace the clutch, flywheel, and intermediate shaft bearing. It looks like this diy saved me a good bit of money, and I couldn’t be happier!
