How to replace the thermostat on a Porsche 986 /996

swapping out the thermostat on my 2000 Porsche Boxster S was an easy job since I was already draining the coolant.

Check out my blog for links to the part number: http://burnerscars.blogspot.com/2016/04/the-water-cooled-porsche.html

@burner's cars :
My Boxster 2.7 2001 has a problem : some seconds after you start the car(after it has build pressure in the system) ,coolant drops down in the middle of the car . it losses very much water when it's runing. Overnight it's not that much but it also drops down . What could cause this problem ? Waterpump?

I also agree with Rick camera work is great, you don't have to put up with information unrelated to task, very helpful part information. Five stars!!!

Just in the middle of doing an overall of the cooling system on my 986. I have to say Bens videos are the most informative and detailed of any I found. Thanks Ben great job.
