I just picked up 67 442 Conv and it sat outside at some point and the floors and trunk need repaced. I was thinking of doing it but after watching your video might have to move it on down the road to the next cat. I got 3 other 442 projects ahead of it and they are all solid cars that need minimal sheet metal repair. Gotta pick your Battles Wisely.

Sam Marcotte says:

I just put pans in my 72 buick skylark from summit. I bought braces from them too and they are garbage, don't buy body panels from summit.

Ken Miller says:

I have a 66 chevelle  and I am replacing floor and floor braces . Is there a way to install the floor braces without removing body from frame ?

Ken Miller says:

Do you have to cut out rocker panels to replace floor braces ?

Paul Menten says:

Hey, man. It seems like the problem with the door gap is related to the bent frame. The cracked window might also be related. The body is partially collapsed on that side and you would need to bend the rear of the body up until the door gap closed. You might have to push the roof up to help get things back in shape.

But you know that already, right?

It was very instructive to watch your videos. The issues with the door gaps was a real clear lesson about body and frame alignment.
