I'm gonna use a Torx Socket 45 instead of the hex on the fill plug next time. I was sure I was going to strip it the first two times.

@GranTorino-b7t says:

Any chance you you could maybe move the camera any faster so a guy has no chance of viewing where the drain plugs are located.

@livenhfree says:

Wheels need to come off to do the front? What else? The intro was pretty fast. Thanks. 2024 Outback 2.5.

@AK-tl2nm says:

Great video. I’m pretty sure you can actually fill from the top using a funnel with tube, there’s even a little grey handled dip stick to check the level. Could avoid both removing splashguard and pumping.

@wheezin_mtnbkr3576 says:

You can fill from the check plug hole. Little time saving trick! Same idea: When you fill beyond level, it will begin to flow out.

@L3M41tr3 says:

Another Subaru that's not in the rust belt.

@pennmikael says:

the fill plug was extremely hard to remove. when putting back, i just made it snug. was tight enough to last 40k miles. i’m overdue for a fluid change and hopefully it’s easier to remove.

@My-NaMeS_jEfF says:

I do mine without a jack or fill plug. If you push your hose all the way into the check valve you can fill it from there.
But I will say after doing it three times that way, I bought a set of jackstands

@IronFishChannel says:

Subaru Tech here, I have the pleasure of doing these in on a lift, but the fill plug I get out by fitting a long ratchet between the transmission and the exhaust which gives me the best leverage vs a bunch of extensions on a hex bit.

@DaDaDo661 says:

I stripped that fill bolt. Working up the courage to try and get in there with some type of extractor
