My 2007 subaru outback is having difficulty starting up during cold low temperatures weather. It will continue cranking but won't turn over. I have a new 640cca battery installed and still won't turn over. I know it's not the battery, alternator or starter issue, it's something else I can't figure it out. Maybe this mass air flow sensor would be the issue idk… Can you help me figure this out?

Nicholas Nicoloff says:

So i have an engine hiccup/jerk or jolt on my 2013 OB 3.6R ONLY in SNOW. NO FAULTS but code reader shows a spike in the MAF Rate in Lb/min. Thoughts?

Jim Rodriguez says:

Thank you for this! My shop wants to charge me $400 for this smh

Joshua Moore says:

Is Dialectric silicone is the same as dialectric grease used on the battery terminals?

Sandy Shoremann says:

Would you recommend cleaning the non-removable post-filter that is in the MAF side of the airbox assembly? Possibly a light vacuum? My car is displaying a slight to moderate lack of high -rpm power and thinking it is an air flow restriction. The car came from a dusty desert area. – Sandy

Sandy Shoremann says:

Clear concise video. If there is no MIL set for MAF, are there symptoms pointing to it becoming contaminated? Like a sag or flatspot on moderate acceleration? Another question; would you recommend a cleaning only with symptoms or a MIL, or, possibly do it every 30K miles as PM? I recently bought a used 2011 subaru outback with 65K miles on it, and I will be servicing the airbox and filter so I might as well give the MAF component a rinse with CRC MAF Sensor cleaner while I am there. Thanks! -Sandy

When you said to make sure there's no weird color in the injector wiring plug-in part, what should be done if there is a copper color for one of the prongs? I replaced the MAFS but haven't started my car yet due to the coloring of the piece that gets plugged in. Please let me know what I can do!!
