130k on my 1990 C1500 key works great!!
Mine didn't have keys for a while till I finally replaced the ignition cylinder only like 12 bucks on lmc
Lol i got 264 on the clock everything works fine its called operator error from over the years
170k in my 94 same here
Its because the ignition is on stupid!!! Omg people are stupid….Turn the key back S.E….smh
I got 270k and does the same
Maybe i had a 96 Silverado my key came out while it was running
I have 360,000 on mine and the key dont come out either
It’s the mileage
Aftermarket ignition cylinder
mine is the same way, 212k miles
Yours starts…?
My 94 the keys can’t come out
Got an '89 C3500 w 234k on the dash, still needs my key haha I feel lucky
my 94 1500 has 270k on it and my key works just fine
If the key comes out in the on position your key tumbler is shot and needs to be replaced. If you continue to use it in this condition, pretty soon it won't work anymore.
I need my key to start my 88 but I can then pull the key and toss it… lol
