In the final(?) instalment of this bore scored engine swap series I finally get to take the car on its first test drive.
Although I got the engine running in the last video, there was still a lot of work to do. It wasn’t running correctly, so I had to diagnose the problem and fix it.
After putting the car back together I finally get to drive it, but how far before there are issues? Watch and find out.
I also do a couple of other jobs like install a dash cam, some wheel spacers and we go to a local car show.

A few niggles needed a cure, but went well for you. The O2 sensors may have been a bit oiled also and that additive cleaned them up.
Great job!!!! Have ever had a boxster lock out the key fobs due to a door not being shut properly when trying to use the fob? I've got that problem and it's driving me nuts…

It's too bad those cars are very hard to work alone in a little garage. I had to work on convertible roof and transmission stuff, it's a lot of pain to work on. Even basic mechanics is sooo tidius. I am tracking a possible very slow power steering leak, super hard to track the source
