Very helpful video! Thank you! It helps to loosen the fender also

Maura G says:

Lol. 9 unlikes. People Crack me up. I'm glad the rest of yall found this helpful.

Tom Payne says:

This is definitely the easiest way. I had to take the top fender bolts off the drivers side to pull the headlight out but that was nothing. Thanks for this video!! It saved me a bunch of time because I had just put it back together from replacing the cooling fans. Now that's a job!! Poor design!! Good car but poorly designed in my opinion.

Estuardo Arce says:

It helps a lot the video and is much easier replace the bulb, just removing front wheel and wheel cover, really don't need to do anything else

Landon says:

I replaced my driver side headlight without unscrewing a single thing. There is a hole in the frame between the light and the battery that I was able to fit my hand through and finesse the bulb out of. But sadly, there is no hole on the passenger side..

Panda Valintine says:

Thank you so much. Your explanation was super easy. I was able to change my light bulb without over paying a mechanic!

Angelina Acosta says:

Great video. It took five minutes to change. I seen the other videos and was ready to give up and go to the dealer. Try using your lefty knee to push in the corner of the light housing on the driver side, while lifting and pulling on the other side to get it over the lip you mentioned. Once I used my knee it popped right out. Thanks again. You saved me time and money.

A 10 minute job not hard at all

rwideman71 says:

You are awesome…. Just remember that. I we ready to rip the bumper off.

TheArcV says:

Maura, thanks for this how-to. I also tried following the other video but it did not have the tip about propping out that front grill plastic area which helps a great deal. And it also did not mention that you have to really put some counter force on to the lower part of the headlamp assembly in order to barely slip the upper corner out of the lip on that panel. Once I saw you explain this bit I was able to do the same on my 2007 XR. But anyone else reading — note I had to put quite a bit of power into getting that headlamp around that tip in the body. I think it could depend a lot on how tight the bracket is holding onto the thing at the bottom where you cannot reach which probably varies from car to car. So be persistent — it can be done!

heather ho says:

Thank you for this video! I did see the guys video where he tried to explain it but until actually seeing you do it I didnt understand! Got it done with the help of my neighbor! You rock!

Mino A says:

Thank you for this! I'm taking a break from trying after watching the same confusing video you referred to. I've been trying to get the dang thing out for over an hour now. I think your video might have helped. I really don't want to shell out the cash for a bulb replacement.

reeljerc says:

Thanks, totally worked. The part about lifting out that corner of the housing is key.

Thanks…I just had a Tocado Android installed but installer needs to do fixes. Chinese radios are made a bit larger than US radios but this fits ok. Now have the backup camera etc. Guy did not put in the steering interface and other small issues. But I was thinking of this. I think they make the chrome door edge guards. I want to check one and see if it would work using them over the long lines of the fog lights and maybe even the grill. Cheap and might look good. Although I found a site that has the stainless grill for less than $70 bucks. Later for this but wanted to share. At least Motor Week did a nice Review on the 2007 Saturn Aura so feel good owning this Aura. Take Care

Thank. You. So. MUCH.
