Thanks for your time and video. This worked perfectly for my Buick Encore GX 1.3 2022. Other videos showed that it should be installed by removing the cup holder trim. Started there and didn't find the harness. Opened the hood and boom!!! Connected it and put the clip that I removed back in folding the wire harness and no need for zip ties. Thanks again.

Unhooking battery not requiered?

What year is this

@kevinjarchow5627 says:

The one that I bought for my 2022 Equinox RS didn't come with instructions.
The one issue that I had was getting the plug to separate on the harness. I thought that I had released it using the red tab but I found that there was another hook that I had to get released. I happened to have a sprinker adjustment tool for my Rainbird sprinker head. That small flat tool was exactly was was needed to release the hook. After that, it was a simple 10 second job. Five minutes counting the test drive.
Unlike the unit described above, the insert is idiot proof. It can only be installed one way, the correct one.
$10.00 to buy the unit. Aggrivation from the Federally mandated auto stop/start function…gone in 5 minutes.

@matthewlawson5634 says:

If it has the button why did you buy the plug if you can turn it off?doesn't make sense to me

@timjohnson6278 says:

Hardest part is disconnecting the old grimy connector. Did u do that by hand?

@TheCrystalAtom says:

Does the big plug version work for 2013 Buick Lacrosse?

@edsmith2503 says:

Probably disables remote start to

@modoc8529 says:

I’m thinking this can be done without buying that jumper if it doesn’t have an electronic device in the line and is a matter of just flipping the plug over and plugging back together. I’ll have to do some investigating on my 2020 enclave.

@idk-xf2mj says:

I have a quick question. My 2018 Buick enclave does not have the option of turning that start stop off. Can I still do the bypass and will it be OK? Is there a different installation instructions for a 2018?

@godlikekreations6649 says:

The item works but the check engine light is on after following the instructions do you know why this could be

@josecobarrubias8650 says:

What’s the website to purchase

@stephfredhall6032 says:

1. You should put a link to the product in the description 2. You should have filmed taking the original plug apart and actually plugging in the cable.

@DavidSteg-h7b says:

Does the remote start still work as it dies not with hood ajar

@whiskeyyum1341 says:

Where did you buy the cable??

@whiskeyyum1341 says:

What brand and model plug are you using??
