Well this video is useless, I don’t have an air hammer, that’s for wealthy people with a place for a compressor and tools…

petroleum products eat rubber…use any liquid soap and water instead

My bushing OD is 45mm but the leaf spring eye ID is just under 43mm. I tried some methods without success. Do you think that freezing and greasing and using a bench press is gonna be helpful, or 2mm difference is just too much?

No metal sleeve in there?

I want to see what you are doing

@wabbac8133 says:

That was a leaf spring bushing. Misleading title

I also have a Rough Country lift (probably not pertinent, but cool to hear yours is the same) and my passenger side leaf is rubbing against the shackle – the bushing looks ok compared to yours, no clunking, but the edge of the leaf rubs on the shackle (I installed extended shackles to get a bit more height in the back too). Any thoughts? I guess that means the bushing maybe failed on the outer surface as opposed to the inside sleeve.

@noah22261 says:

How could you tell it went back without pulling the leaf out? Was it clunking or something?
