Check engine light p0300,p0301,o0302,p0303,p0304,p0305,p0306 Rough idle, someone changed all the coils, plugs, tb gasket etc but overlooked the root cause of all cylinder misfiring. Valve adjustment.

How much for a valve job on a 2005 acura mdx same engine size ?
Did you clear the codes before you tried to start it for the first time?
Will the check engine light come on for the misfires? To adjust the valves?
Is this process only for Honda's or all cars general????

Thank you so very much. This video helped me understand everything so well. I put it off so long because it looked complicated and I didn't want it be more than the spark plugs. I was able to do this in about a day on/off. The shops wanted to charge me $800-$1000. I did it for $6 bucks lol. Just paid for the feeler gauge. No more misfire codes or the loud shakes!
Im not new to 4cyl hondas but this was very helpful picked up a nice 05 mdx for $100 lol going to do the valves adjustment have misfires on all cylinders and will not idle at all untill warm but studders thank you.

My engine also has a ticking noise that is coming from both cyliders. The #1 and #4 cylinders in particular, a loud synchronized tick noise. Could this be the problem? The valves need ajusting
Not sure if u mentioned it but do u have to set everything to tdc?
I have an Acura 2004 MDX too,I had it fixed just recently an a week in half it mis fired again, so I waited three weeks half to bring back to shop let it set..to so I'm back at the shop right now. They are going to diagnose it to see what's going on this check engine is driving me a headache..it will be the second time getting it fixed.
i love this guy but a little bit more effort on removing the small shit on camera and this wouldve been a high level guide. Still nice to have but not enough angels
I was having the same issue. I didn't adjust the valves tho. Was running regular gas. Checked out the specks for the car online says it requires premium fuel. I switched to premium fuel and used Lucas full fuel system cleaner. Been fine ever since. The check engine light went out on its own.
