My daughter & I had fun working and saving on uncle's 959. TPMS is about $15,000.00/each. If you can buy it.
We removed all 4 TPMS sensors out of the wheels. Informed my 11 years old daughter to notes the position on sensors.
She opens the sensors, weight them, removes those batteries, weights them to match like before & installs them back.

Next project, we are doing oil changes & filter and spark plugs replacement on an F40.

Brian St. Denis says:

Porsches do not take a 5/16" anything 🙂

Capital Exotics says:

What’s the torque on the spark plugs and do you have to do anything to them, like put lubricant on the threads etc?

Did/do you have to replace the coil packs as well? Thanks, from a fellow 991.1 owner!

Capital Exotics says:

I’m up for my 4 year/40k service this season, going to do it at the start of next season! This video is awesome! Saving it! Thanks for doing this for 991.1 owners.

What about accessory belt change? Haven’t done it yet on my 2014 991 25k miles

A. C. E. says:

22:54 those fasteners are called E Torx or External Torx.

Bruno DeSoto says:

First of all, thank you very much for your extremely helpful videos. My 2014 turbo just hit the 40,000 mile mark, and I will be doing the servicing. Do I have to remove the rear wing? I noticed that you make a note to remove it on a fixed wing configuration. Mine is the OEM turbo wing. Does it matter? Thank you very much.

A. C. E. says:

21:36 50 Nm = 37 lbf.ft. I usually tighten the drain bolt to that or 35 lbf.ft.

nanah p says:

Where did you get those floors to buy in the garage?

nanah p says:

I am happy to see your diy video because I am planning to buy one of these and when I realized that you have to take the bumper off to service, I was a bit worried, thanks for the video I am now confident I could handle this.

tactus tenebris says:

5/16? hmmm. that doesn't sound right! I think you meant to say 8mm

Sean Denny says:

You never adjusted the belt like you said …I recently got my dream car a 2014 991 convertible and I like all the content you plan to, keep going put it all in please.

Sean Denny says:

What about the belt you were talking about?

Nima Baradaran says:

Nicely done. Thank you. Any DIY work you do on your 993 engine? Wonder if you still have it…

Fernando Barboto says:

what are the best coils and spark plugs for my 991.1?

Sean Denny says:

What year is your car?

Bob In Houston says:

Do you have a Amazon link to the spark plug socket you use? Thanks.

Jack Shaheen says:

So tell me what the color of your brake calipers mean?

Ed says:

A true car guy can afford to take it in to be serviced but would rather DIY. Great video.

Jack Carr says:

I noticed you might have an mobile phone mount, what kind was that? thanks

fluid15 says:

How long does it take you to remove the bumper from the time you begin to get it jacked up to 'bumper off?' TIA
