BMW N52 Engine Valve Stem Seals Replacement Part 2 of 3

In this video we are going to show how to replace valve stem seals on BMW N52B30 engine. How to remove intake, exhaust camshafts and eccentric shaft. Vehicle in the video is 3-Series 2005 BMW E90 330i. This is the second part of three part video series on how to replace valve seals on BMW N52 engine. Some signs of a bad valve seals are: high levels of oil consumption, big puff of smoke when you first start the engine, blue smoke.
Also we’ll be checking and replacing bad hydraulic lifters. Symptoms of bad hydraulic lifters are knocking or ticking noises from engine on acceleration. This engine was found on many BMW models like E90/E92/E93, E65/E66, E60/E61, F01, E89, E84, E87 and more! Procedure might vary slightly on other models but not by much.
