I'm going to pick up my new to me E46 in a few days which features…..you guessed it, a hairline crack in the radiator neck. So yes, certainly the 1st leak being addressed!
Great advice, such tool is on the wishlist.
I noticed I had a leak because my overflow was low. My water pump had a leak and was replaced, luckily under warranty.
