Will a ball joint press kit work to replace all 3 bushings in the lower control arm? It’s hundred dollars cheaper just buying the bushings and putting them in, but the question is, can the back ones be replaced?
I recently replaced my front struts on my 2015 wk2, will having them not lined up correctly cause a clunking noises over bumps? Still new to working on my own vehicles.
Anyone have a part number i cant find them and i need them
Tough job man, like trying to drive a nail in a fat hog's ass.
Did it work?. im having the same problem with my 2010 Ram, i cant remove lower strut bolt, and i guess the bolt is rusted on bushing! im at my wits end im no spring chicken and have a bad back, what seemed like a fairly easy job has turned into a nightmare, i put it back together its not like anything was broken i just wanted to replace since its almost at 100k, thanks for the help i kinda thought this is what needed to be done and you showed how thanks again
I know this video is older but any way you have a part number for that bushing? Can’t find it anywhere
Right on, man! Thanks for this, you literally just saved me over $1000 in parts for my truck.
And yeah.. i was told the same thing by my stealership. They wanted to sell me the entire lower control arm for $500 + each.
Hi, both Rock Auto and Parts Geek have a listing for them on their US sites. Quite reasonable.
Im sure if you search "20xx Dodge ram 1500 lower strut bushing" youll find other listings.
Where did you get those bushings? I was told by my dealer that they were not replaceable.
