Robert Young says:

when you redo this video you should remove the upper plastic panel in the wheel well after removal of wheel/tire. It will allow you to observe the tensioner itself and find there is a hole in the tensioner that will align with a hole in the engine. When reliving the tension with a wrench the holes will align and you can insert a phillips screwdriver that pins the tensioner back. Remove the wrench for free access to all pulleys. Now you can easily remove the old and re-install the new belt over ALL pulleys. Then put the wrench back on the tensioner pull the screwdriver out and bingo everything gets tensioned. The job is truly a one man job. 15/20 minutes after wheel removal…………

Dominic Capretta says:

my car is making a ton of metallic noise and I attributed to the belt is there an Idler Wheel that makes a lot of noise when the belt gets worn?

Robert Arnold says:

Changing the belt is a doable pain in the neck. This time at 95,000 miles, the tensioner feels very weak and I must replace it too. One bolt is easy, the other is impossible. Either way, it is easier if you also remove the wheel and tire. If you break the fender clips, you can buy packages of replacements on Amazon or Ebay. Also, it is a little easier to cut the old belt to remove it. The belt diagram is also right on top of the radiator.

Erick Carmona says:

Good video thanks , just a couple of things to say,… It went a little fast on a couple of things and especially since the video moves a lot so can't really see what u did exactly.

EPCOT NERD says:

If you don't have a lift, pull the whole fender liner off. A few other tips, behind the tension pulley there is a hole to put a pin or a Alan key to hold the tension pulley out of the way. Also, pull the belt out from under the car and make sure you put belt on alt. first and tension pulley last. It's a 1 man job, my first time took me 45 minutes. next time shouldn't be more than 20. Enjoy!

bartojoe says:

hi did you need to remove the engine mount? please answer anyone. thanks

ricky battle says:

It's terrible, the way that they design cars these days, everything is so hard to get to.

Jeremy S says:

I replaced mine today. Puting the belt on the alternator pulley last was a no go. I put the belt on the tensioner pulley last with ease. Didn't require 2 people. The tensioner pulley is smooth so the belt slid right on.

mark j says:

Thanks buddy. I didn't know you had to go under the dang car to get to it. I hope I didn't damage the tensioner.

Mark Indiveri says:

I stand to save $250 if I can change this belt myself. I'm goin' for it.

J Rod says:

I just replaced my belt on my 2009 Nissan Rogue. What a headache it was. I highly recommend you have a partner as well. It took effect me two hours to figure out how to get that belt on even after watching this video. Those belts are not stretchy at all.
