How to replace that pesky Nissan electronic throttle body? Although this installation seems to be simple plug and play, the following learning procedures are required to get your car running properly: Accelerated Pedal Released Position Learn, Throttle Valve Closed Position Learn, and Idle Air Volume Learn. Complete these 3 small learning procedures and you’ll be back on the road in no time!

**RE-LEARN PROCEDURE STEPS**

Accelerated Pedal, Released Position Learn
1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released. (1:09)
2. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds . (1:14)
3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds . (1:17)
(This procedure requires 2 key cycles, so again, ensure the pedal is fully released)
4. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds . (1:24)
5. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds (1:29)

Throttle Valve, Closed Position Learn.
1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released. (1:38)
2. Turn ignition switch ON. (1:39)
3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds. (1:43)
(Make sure that throttle valve moves during these 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound.)

Idle Air, Volume Learn.
1. Ensure the accelerator pedal is fully released. (1:59)
2. Turn ignition ON, do not start engine, then wait 3 seconds (2:02)
3. Next, Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal 5x within 5 seconds (2:07)
4. Wait 7 seconds, then fully depress and hold accelerator pedal. After Approximately 11 seconds, the Malfunction indicator light will switch from steady to blinking. Approximately 9 seconds later, the light changes from blinking to steady once again. (2:13)
5. Fully release accelerator pedal and start the car within 3 seconds. (2:28)
6. Allow to idle. Wait 20 seconds. (2:32)
7. Lightly rev the engine several times, and make sure idle speed is within specification. When vehicle returns to idle, the learn should be complete. (2:36)
