Great video! Similar in many ways to a 2004 eclipse GTS, V6 manual.
Is this Evo auto or manual transmission?
DO NOT RE USE YOUR WEDGE COLLAR. Seriously get the act monoloc wedge collar!! I had to re drop the transmission because the wedge collar popped off when installing. 79$ is worth not having to re drop your transmission
I started watching at a 22-minute point throwout bearing and your rear main seal installation let me say you missed a very important critical part considering you must pull out the transmission in order to replace a rear main seal never install that style of seal dry you must always put a light coating of oil on the inner edge of the seal all the way around you are now without that oil having a dry clean crankshaft turning on a dry Rubber seal and you could very easily damaged the seal you always lubricate the inner Edge all the way around the circumference of that seal so it is lubricated that was a big No-No I don't mean to be rude it was just so critical that you lubricate that inner Edge where the spring rides around the inside of that edge you don't want the crankshaft and the seal to be dry I would never use Permatex feelings after discovering the best feeling it's called The Rite Stuff also made by Permatex it is the best the best the best I wouldn't use anything else I respect your video I've been doing this 45 years and have yet to show some of the shortcuts and tricks that I've learned but to me the most important thing is that you do a quality job with minimal comebacks nice production quality cute kid good job just critical item that was missed but that's how we learn
Well I didn't watch all of it I watched trying to pick up if anyone has had problems with the clutch Fork return Springs
I'm doing a clutch change on my 99 Legnum. Even with the 6A13TT, this video is spot on ^^ Thanks for the clear explanations 🙂
Those 3 top bolts of the transfer case seems to be a bit easier to acces on the 4G6 tho :p
I have a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage SE and tit won't get into non of the gears
Great video thanks
Hello I have a 1992 mj triton and I'm just wondering if u know how to rebuild the gearbox
JESUS LHE ABENÇOE O SUFICIENTE
how does the EVO handle with the twin disk Exedy
so the dowel pin for the flywheel alignment is not really neccesary? i only ask because i had a clutch kit installed on my Evo 4 and they removed the dowel pin.
excellent video
Hello, please help, I want a sporty clutch, a Mitsubishi L200, a 2.4 4N15 machine, a 6-speed gearbox.
Brilliant job!…..But think I would scrap the car, far too complicated for a clutch replacement…Car makers are just being far to much up their back sides to safe guard their main agents , thus freeze out us enthusiast car owners….a long way from the model Ford T ,…okay L200 …rant over….. you know what I'm saying….regards
Alguien me puede decir porque mete el desarmador por el agujero de abajo?

Awesome channel, everytime I need to do anything on my Evo, first I look to your channel to see how you did it.
Thank you very much for your time! Best regards from Spain
thanks so much for this vid Paul, greatly appreciated especially regarding monoloc collars. mine flew out recently lol!
Amazing ! Keep the videos coming !
Leaking from the CV shaft brought back a memory; mine wasn't 100% seated and was leaking while testing everything on jackstands. Ugh, gear oil stank.
Thank you again and again and again for another helpful video, I'm sure every EVO owner owes you a Beer (Y)
Thanks for the awesome content man! How long did it take you overall, considering all the filming and editing time?
