I see that Taurus is not equipped with ABS. I have been disassembling the
entire front ends to get those hubs out, does pushing the axle back on ABS
cars give enough room to get the bolts out around the ABS Ring?
Do you reuse the hub nuts? I feel guilty and always buy new from ford. Once
and aftermarket one was too oval and ruined threads.
Just did my first wheel hub/bearing replacement – It was on a 2008 Subaru
Outback, left rear – Had to lube, beat, bang and wiggle to get the thing
out but clean up and install was textbook – Do you ever use a slide hammer
kit to help pull a wheel hub/bearing? – I’ve seen some videos where folks
did and seemed to work well on most – Wish you had time to make videos on
most everything you repair cause you are by far the best at doing a repair
the right way and I learn something with every video! …. and you can
shoot clays like nobodies business!
