This can be a big problem if you don’t do this Mod before it costs you big bucks! Super Easy Secondary air pump Mod to remove the inner foam filter before it clogs up the entire system. Adding an external air filter and removing the inner one.

Been a Toyota Tech for 20 years and have never seen one of these disintegrate or clog a air pump. This seems like one of those "mods" from IH8MUD that someone is super proud of. Then it became a way to take $100 from someone.
