My dream is to replace the screen in my 2018 car. The screen without touch screen turns the whole multimedia system into a very dangerous piece of crap. It is impossible to use, trying to enter some route on the regular navigation system turns into a torture and takes a huge amount of time. It is very dangerous to drive with the regular multimedia system. There is no ergonomics. I saw this video and thought – is it really possible to make this horrible system normal? I have Carplay in my car via USB, but my favorite navigation software IGO doesn't work with Carplay.
Is it possible to buy this screen separately? Also, will the IGO navigator work with your kit via CarPlay, or with this kit it will not be possible to bypass the lock? (Your video shows youtube, that's why I'm asking. I don't want to jailbreak my phone).
