I have another video that shows how to connect to the main power under the
dash. It’s called “How to wire up door poppers”

mywickedness says:

Been wanting to have this done to my 90 Accord. Now i think i can do it
myself. Thanks for the video.

psoriasisman says:

what happen if your battery die? you wont be able to open it?

Emmanuel Gurrola says:

Now that youve been very detail on how to do it, I just might do it on my
celica all on my own… thanks. Very helpful.

Greg Yeo says:

Great video man its really gonna help me to do these on my 66 fury….keep
up the good work !

John Johnson says:

This might be a dumb question, what power source do you tap into operate
the door poppers?

2ndshiftaudio says:

Cool video, But you might want to use Locktite on the bolts. Being in that
position on the door it’s gonna want to loosen the bolts pretty quick. A
lot of jarring in that position.

ScottysDetailing says:

one is glad to be of service!

tate henson says:

So your inside handle wount be use anymore? And the only way to open the
doors is with the poppers remote, right?? If you loose your remote or your
celinoide fails your fuked? Nice work man love what youve done to your truck

Jamie Scharr says:

@PabloMillan09 sounds like the cable from the latch to the popper is to
tight so when ur driving the bouncing around is opening ur door…hope that
helps

ahmad I.A says:

thanks scotty,great work.

ScottysDetailing says:

Always use a fuse on the hot wire and use a negative trigger on the 5 pole
relay

Jess R. says:

thank you, this video helped me a lot.

PabloMillan09 says:

That might be true man.. I do remember messing with that and tighten it one
time! I will loosen it just a bit and hope that helps… Thanks!! I
appreciate the help man!

ScottysDetailing says:

You do it the same way, just hook up the door popper on the inside door
handle lever and unhook the door locks from the latch because you won’t
need them with shaved handles. Also make sure the door popper unlatches the
door latch before you shut the door. Here is a liitle trick i use- take a
screw driver and push it into the latch long side, then hit the door popper
and see if it releases the latch. You can do this before you actually close
the Door. Hope that helps.

Lynndog says:

Great and helpful….the 72 gets the treatment tomorrow…shaved last week
…solinoids and poppers tomorrow…thanks

Thanks for the video, it doesn’t make it easier for me but it helped
explain some things. Hopefully this will come in handy when I attempt this
soon. I already have my handles shaved. Time for the next step 🙂

the latch with a flathead screwdriver..LOL Then I replaced the battery..
