Annnd what happens when I drop a bolt into the frame. Yep that's me!! Driver side fine….then the passenger side my fingers cramped and down it went

Thanks for the very helpful How-To. Happy to say I avoided the top two complications, namely cracking the windshield (I used the short rubber handled Jeep tool kit ratchet) and dropping the bolt behind the plastic housing. I did however succumb to a slightly different problem. Since I didn't have a deep socket I had an extension bar on the ratchet and instead I ended up dropping the socket itself down the into the housing… Took about 20 minutes of extra fishing around, but finally got it out LOL
now i know why it's called oh shit. 🙂 anyway, great video. thanks.

Chris, firstly anyone and everyone could have made the mistake you made with windshield My guess is half of install videos edit out mistakes like that. so kudos to you for admitting a mistake we all could have made and teaching us all a lesson.
In the end I decide on soft grabs due to all the steel bars blocking some usage of visors.
how is the motion of the sun visor after installing these? Do they still have a full range of motion or are they limited by the handles?
