Jaguar Xjl Supercharged Water Pump Installed | Which Is Better OEM Or Aftermarket Parts

The reasons aftermarket is better than OEM in my opinion. I installed a water pump on my Jaguar Xjl supercharger and save $100s dollars. The new aftermarket water pump was built better and cost a lot less. Save money and get better working parts.

The grief on your face whenever you reference the dealership part cost. lol.

FM dolphinMan Montgomery says:

The piece you presented that connects to throttle body you found for $16 on Amazon, will that be the same pet for an 2011 Jaguar XF?

Vahak Agojian says:

I have the same car 2013 model. It’s on its 5th waterpump. I’ve had the entire cooling system hoses changed and still leaks. I hope the aftermarket is better. What after market brand do you recommend?

Supplice VI says:

dude you knocked it out of the park. I smelled that dreaded sweet smell and you absolutely killed it with the video.

Anthony Wilson says:

How did you install the hose to the water pump did you take off the entire piece all the way to the throttlebody

Hi, not sure if youre still responding to this video. Ill be as brief as i can. 2015 XF Sport 3.0 AWD Supercharged. Looks to be the same engine, maybe same parts as yours. I noticed my low coolant light was on, topped it of. noticed no heat from hvac. Got a little concerned so headed home. sitting at a red light, I saw a cloud of steam and a loud pop. Less than five minutes later, I made it home. No knocking or clicking. My thermostat had blown apart at the seam. Im getting ready to install the new one and Im wondering if the water pump coukd be the cause. Im just trying to prevent having to take it all apart again. P.S. I broke that little overflow inlet. Do you have the link for that part. I didnt see it. Thanks
