How to replace the transmission filter and oil for account 2013
Excellent presentation. Thank you.
Great video, but why would you not just replace the axle seal at the tranny while you were there ?? It's a Low cost item that could prevent a return …
Did this today on my 2005 Elantra, left side. I wish I had a lift, inside a warm garage. Did this job on my knees and back outside 23 degrees out, …. It sucked lol. Got it in though and check ride says it is good. Only lost a quart f fluid. Gd job, Jim.
whats the torque specs on the 2003 hyundai elantra axle nut.. can not find anywhere
What was the torque spec for the axle nut
Hi Jim and Merry Christmas to you sir!
I’m in the Philadelphia area with my 2004 Hyundai Elantra.
Are you in Philadelphia?
How much do you charge to do that axle job?
I replaced my left front axle with a new one last month and now my new front right axle has arrived and I’m ready to replace that old bad one.
Would have been helpful to state what size wrenches and sockets were being used otherwise great video.
You actually helped me out. I'm very thankful. That ring on the end that pops back into the transmission, I thought I'd have to take the tranny apart lol. I was confused about that but I learned something from you today. Thank you
what is the use that rubber on the middle of the axle? i notice the new axle dont hate it..
That is a nice job you completed on that car, and I hope all was fine with it during the road test, and the customers was pleased.
Jim
Great video – especially since you did not had to get dirty! Observation – I like to undo strut bolts instead of unbolting lower bolt joint. This lowers a chance of ripping bolt joint boot. Other than that this is a very easy job even for DIY with jack stands and no lift.
Also, always torque all bolts to factory specs.
Is that old axle has a balance weight on it? Do you have to transfer that to the new axle?
Good job and great video!
A fine job Jim! Looks like that the lower control arm is relativity new too! hope all is well Jim. And wow you finally listened to me "If you can get someone else to do it you are probably better off!"
Jim would you also replace the cv axle shaft seal when performing this repair?
This just reminded me of why I subbed to you in the first place. Great vid.
Jim I love your show. I learn a lot from you you're very detail you explain very very well. This is from Canada by the way. It's Bill I watch Steve. From Canada your buddy. Jim question for you when you do Mercedes AMG brakes do you need to unplug the computer? I seen people doing that I don't know why. I just did Mercedes 2012 AMG I didn't have to do that.
Looks like your helper knows his way around cars. Hope to see him again.
what is your air impact name ?
I gonna do this same thing on my mothers Audi. The boot is broken. But I cheap out and only replace the boot. Costs 16 dollars.
You got a new assistant Jim?
very well done , jim great video sam
