actually I’m looking for a way to increase the ground clearance on my
crossovers vehicle, I wonder if there’s anyway you can increase it by
changing to a longer strut? Or maybe installing a coilovers?

1A Auto Parts says:

It should be the same process. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

7150285 says:

is this how you install if you have a coilover?

waynenguyen69 says:

What about the rear struts??

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have an auto repair video for the rear struts. They may
come off in a similar fashion. If you have a Haynes manual for the vehicle
it should show you the steps that need to be taken to change them in your
car.

1A Auto Parts says:

@YotaFan1 At the current time we do not have an auto repair video that
shows you how to fix this issue.

1A Auto Parts says:

There’s a link to the strut section on our website for your Honda Accord.

Can I use these struts to lower my vehicle? Will it hold up to a 1.5″ drop?

Elisha Munatzar says:

Do You Have A Video ON How To Replace The Heater Core On The Same Car? Or
How To Take The Dashboard Out? Thanks

lilloser501 says:

thx for showing this vid i have one question becuz i have my car and it got
lowered and its very bounce alittle gap it would make my whole front go
down and touch the ground is that the struts just being old or the
springs??

1A Auto Parts says:

It may be a fairly similar process.

1A Auto Parts says:

We do not recommend modifying the struts to lower the vehicle. You may want
to look for a recommended lowering kit for the car that would also make it
handle correctly, with correct spring rates.

1A Auto Parts says:

HI Jason, You could (chock the rear tires) keep those on the ground, and
support the front of the car on jack stands. Then use your floor jack to
take some of the weight off of the suspension, so that you can connect the
new strut. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day! 1aauto.com

Thank you so much. I really didn’t know how to remove it without taking off
the fork of the strut. Thanks a lot this helped me out a lot.

1A Auto Parts says:

@tx01cowboy A few things may be different on your vehicle, but the basics
should be similar on how to remove them.

1A Auto Parts says:

HI Jan, Thank you for visiting our channel on YouTube. We currently do not
have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair.

In this video, what is the manufacture of the new strut with springs for
the honda accord ?

Joshua Hogg says:

thank you!

1A Auto Parts says:

The one on our video is one of our economy struts, we also carry the Monroe
struts.

1A Auto Parts says:

@youngindagame30 On this particular vehicle we currently don’t have a video
that shows you how to replace the rear struts. However there should be a
bolt or two at the top and bottom that hold them in place. We do carry the
Haynes repair manuals for this vehicle that should show you how to make
this repair. Here’s a link to them on our website. Hope this helps you out.
