Thank you for the video, it really helped especially when I had to reinstall all the hardware, which was a major pain in the ass mainly because I'm 67 yrs old, but I dominated the bastard and got er done.

Not a bolt it’s a nut

The pivot, and adjuster bolts on the bottom are very tricky when it comes to tightening. The place where the long bolt seats sure isn't much. The bolt can slide off of the seat very easily. A real bitch!!!

blubastud says:

You skipping too many steps for an idiot like me but thanks anyway, lol.

David Carrillo says:

THANK YOU! this helped a lot…the socket sizes saved hassle and the big overall steps just made it simple, the only finicky thing was reinstalling the tensioner on the alternator, first, as it was a tight for my fingers, second, getting to the 12mm bolt on there was super tight for my socket set .

foxxbott says:

Thanks for making this, helped a lot! You need like 8 arms to line that alternator tensioner up xD

Eddie Suarez says:

Josh Arconado says:

Very helpful thanks man!

topgrain says:

Thanks, but there are too many steps and processes involved for a 3½ minute video.

Matthew Montoya says:

i followed it through successfully but now its squeals loud could the belt be to loose or too tight??

Thanks for showing how to do this! I'm going to be replacing the alternator on a 1993 Accord Ex coupe 5 speed manual in a couple of weeks with my 15 year old son. We have the Haynes manual, but having a video showing how to do it is better. This is a great tutorial for learners!
