Being 75 I have seen many years we, the taxpayer, bailed the auto makers for one reason or another. If it was another industry the would have gone bankrupt 100 years ago.

With gm,s unpredictable software in their cars just imagine the chaos their self driving cars will create, spend your own money lady and don’t expect millions of non drivers to fund your lifestyle
