Two things ruined gm for me, no manual transmission in full sized trucks, and no longer offering 6.6 Duramax in full size vans. I have purchased 5 new Chevys since 2004, last one is a 2016 3500 6.6 Duramax van. In 2018 I went to buy another 6.6 Duramax van and all they offered was a 2.8 Duramax. I test drove it, it won't get out of its own way. Hey GM, start making what people want again instead of what the government tells you that people want.
Personally, I don't find this funny at all. Aside from the buyers who have been hurt by this, I'm also concerned about all the workers who will probably be out a job.
Scotty is a very smart man.

Im from belvidere and theres oldies that I know that have been working there for years and just got laid off out of no where, theyre so pissed.
Scotty is spot-on about GM but misses the point on electric.

Heres a question…Why did GM go from the VOLT to BOLT….? The Volt was a POS…I stick with old GM…pre 1980…
Do you blame companies to want to eliminate jobs that pay union workers that are impossible to fire if they screw up. The same jobs that pay $30/hour to turn a bolt? Full pensions and benefits to turn a bolt and if you don't pay them they strike and shut down the entire factory and perhaps the whole company because they dont GET PAID ENOUGH????? What CEO with half a brain cell would want to open a factory here? I'm a family member of a union worker and even I say "dude this is ridiculous".
