Am I incorrect to think that this was an “AT Flexplate” & not a “Flywheel”
i remember them days learning to weld, hrs. after hrs. running 6011 flat
beads for weeks……
Thumbs up Bro
@casswat – They say I have it in my voice.. But I’m not hearing it.. lol
@berkelusa No I have not, send me a link on the course 🙂
@casswat – Automatic is a flexplate.. But we still call it a flywheel.. not
that It’s a big deal.. try “car-parts” you know what..
@berkelusa Okay, now I hear it. Not sure how i missed that one 🙂 But
seriously, am I supposed to be looking up flywheels or flexplates for a
1979 Cadillac Deville? I’m getting mixed messages within many of the videos
i’m locating. Thanks in advance.
Congrats to you and your lovely Bride Rob! I love the work you did on the
Mustang!! It’s amazing what some good old fashioned elbow grease will do!!
Congratulations!
@berkelusa That was my conclusion as of yesterday, until a tech. guy gave
me the “what for” within a cadillac forum for using incorrect terminology.
So as you say, flywheel/flexplate, it don’t matter 🙂 Thanks, you were more
help than you know. I appreciate it.
@casswat – Have you never studied the art of New England Language
Conversion? lol
@casswat – Well It’s round, has gears and goes in the same place.. one
flexes and the other don’t.. why give it two names right? Have a great day..
