What happened with the original tapered bearing race that was in the axle tube? Removed?
What year is that 9inch from? Is it 28 spline?

you should be putting the bearing and retainer on dry, you go round a corner to fast and the axle will simply slide out.

If you put the bearing in the oven at 350 till warm it will just slip on. You don’t take a chance messing anything up and you can still adjust if needed.

2nd video ive sever seen..im not jeep lover but you do good work and have good points for working on parts.
If you don't have a press, a piece of pipe 6" longer than the axle length and big enough for the axle to fit inside but the same size as the collar, put it all together and slide hammer it altogether it.
