Is there any computer stuff that need to be done after replacing the balancer? or is it just a replace and drive type thing?
I just change my harmonic balencer, i dont know if is normal, but is still ripple ? Wuy?
What tool did you use to install it? please
Thanks for the video. It helped me alot.
Was this Causing the Engine to Squeak , I just replaced my alternator and all the tensioners and other pulley's the squeak is still there. It is a Manual Truck with no AC , I am thinking it has to be the Harmonic balancer slipping and squeaking.
Thanks for taking the rad out to make the video. It's about a million times easier to see everything thanks to that!
Where can I find the balancer installer at or is their any specific one for a 4.3 Vortec?
This must have been a v6 because the 5.3 and 6.0 v8 are one main bolt….and require a different puller…
Great video.. thanks… I see the same oil leaks I have on my 4.3, front cover and front crank seal?
why did you replace it?
4.3 V-6 ? ? ? How about a 5.3 V-8 I didn't think they put the V-6 in those year models
Is this pretty much the same idea on a 08 6.0?
My 08 Silverado is a pulley without bolt holes. I think it’s welded.
5:27 Thank you! Now I know why my belt wasn't inline correctly. The mechanic didn't used strap wrench to hold the crankshaft from moving when tightening it and the result the crank pulley wasn't torqued
These trucks have 5.7 that's not a 5.3????
