Jose Vazquez says:

Hello, how to rem-place the Oil-Filter-Housing-Gasket, on a 2006 Chevy
impala.

satinbarbi says:

I have a 2004 Impala with the 3.8 engine. I always use a funnel to fill the
oil. If you don’t and spill oil on the manifold you can have a fire. Also
fill the new oil filter 3/4 of the way with fresh oil. If not you will be
starving the engine of oil on that first start.

KHIMKER says:

Thx you very clutch

skaught911 says:

You must have worked on a 3.4L Chevy Impala, not a 3.8L

Mademan954 says:

Good video but is there any way you do one on the chevy impala 3.4 liter
cause I can’t seem to find the oil filter . Thanks

1A Auto Parts says:

Usually on the oil cap, or in the owners manual, the recommended oil weight
will be listed by the manufacturer. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the window motor to see if its working correctly. If
it needs to be replaced we carry new ones on our website with free

Thanks

tnhammerrider says:

I just did an oil change on a 2003 Impala. The oil filter is in the front
of the engine.

Nick Daguanno says:

You reset it through the radio, with the radio off car running hold display
until settings comes up and scroll through until you see oil life, and
select that and reset the oil monitor.

Luke Richardson says:

5w-30 for the impala?

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular
repair. We do carry replacement turn signal switches for a 2000-2005 Chevy
Impala on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

xScoobyDoo82x says:

@Mademan954 I dont know if you’ve figured it out yet but on the 3.4s the
oil filter is on the front of the motor next to the starter. As long as you
look for it, you cant miss it, its not hidden by anything,

1A Auto Parts says:

@scarflyr02 We currently do not have an auto repair video that walks you
through this process on your Impala. If you have a Chiltons or a Haynes
manual it should be covered in either of those repair manuals. Here’s a
link to the ones that we carry on our website. Hope this helps you out.

Dulce Sanchez says:

nice demonstation useful info

jjsjeffjjsjeff says:

Thanks for the vid. I was trying to figure out how I was going to put the
jack in the jacking location and somehow get the jack stand in the same
place. I have the 3400 engine, but it’s the same thing. Oil pan bolt is
13mm on a 3400.

2004zeta2004 says:

Turn the power to your radio off and hold the source button in for about
10secs…your settings options should come up and you can reset your oil
life.

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to have the fuel pressure tested to see if the fuel pump and
regulator are good. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

@bixti3s If you still have the owners manual, the ownes manual should tell
you how to reset it for your vehicle.

AbaddonsAnimosity says:

Very very useful video. This engine is in a LOT of gm vehicles.

1970PMD says:
