Videos are just a guide and I do sometimes remove more things or less
things, some times depending on how much I want to fight something. If that
ends up easier then I would do it, even if it takes a little more time.

OVI-Wan Kenobi says:

What do you think about unbolting & removing the underbody shield to gain
easier access to the fuel filter ? I believe there is only about half a
dozen bolts holding the shield plus the crossbar. That circular hole that
they put in the shield is too small to work with & its even more awkward
when trying to reach the fuel filter while lying on your back underneath
the vehicle.

I do not know where it is but you could pull out the fuel pump fuse and run
the car until it stalls. Honestly I just have rags and a drain bucket ready
when i pull off the line, releases fuel pressure that way for sure.

Relieve pressure before I service any Fuel System Correct?

berry cool says:

how would i releave the pressure

Autotechviewpoint says:

yes that is the best practice, relieve fuel pressure any time you deal with
the fuel system.
