In this follow-up video on the 2018 Chevy 1500 with the strange brake light issue, we go all the way. The right rear brake light was staying on with the headlights and the turn signal would not function.
After proper testing we traced the fault to a failed underhood fuse box that was shorted internally.
In this video I replace the fuse box and verify the repair to make sure the lighting system operates exactly like it should.
No guessing. No parts darts. Just testing, fixing, and confirming.

what was the light flicker below the brake cylinder, looks like an led flashing on and off
Had an audio mixing board with noisy contacts. Sprayed it with Deoxit and it left such a sticky residue on the switches and faders that it ruined the board. Maybe OK for automotive use, but I'll never use it again on sensitive electronics.
Eric, Great video! What make/model LED test light were you using?
My wife’s 2016 Yukon was loaded with codes, many times it wouldn’t start, the radio would act up, multiple issues would happen. Same problem here was what was wrong with the Yukon. Filled with green crusties!!
It’s been 100% normal ever since I replaced it.
Good video! This should help many GM owners.
Is it just me or does Doctor O. tighten fasteners to factory torque specifications off-camera? Hmmmm… And at the end of the day, who cares if it gets crusty from top-to-bottom or bottom-to-top? Just pay the lady in the office and ship it!
I'm seriously considering buying my neighbor's model A. Parts are readily available and fairly simple to work on.
