Eric Ver Linden says:

Nice homemade jack stand. lol

Eric Ver Linden says:

Going through the dipstick tube will take a lot longer. Other then that there shouldn’t be any other difference.

oneviwatara says:

Yes,the new ATF WD-1 is so much better than the old ATF-Z1.

onza04 says:

Yes there is a washer like the oil drain plug

add3rall says:

Is there any sort of crush washer in between the plug like my oil drain plug has? Thanks

TUBEBOO55 says:

I second that… What is is the difference between filling via the dipstick tube and the factory fill bolt? FYI these TLs are just drain and fill. No filter replacement.

TheAKA1001 says:

make more videos on your acura tl man 🙂

abdulrahman alane says:

deekay2 says:

Any difference between Honda’s ATF-Z1 and ATF DW-1??

Jwlz T says:

Z1 fluid has a lot of friction modifier to make the shifts feel smoother. While it feels good, it’s not optimal for the life of the transmission.

deekay2 says:

Couldn’t you have just removed the auto trans fluid dipstick and used a tube hooked on to a funnel and re-filled it up that way?

deekay2 says:

What do you know that the Honda/Acura engineers do not?

lenosramon says:

How much did u put back in …how many quarts n how many quarts did u get out of it ?

KnocKUOut2012 says:

Nice vid buddy. Thanks

I own a 2007 Acura TL type S and I love it. If anyone makes a vid on how to change the spark plugs please message me I know how to do many other maintenance, etc jobs but the plugs seem a bit difficult for me. I haven’t really taken the time to try and change them but I like to observe and then practice(do it) . Thanks!!!

onza04 says:

I haven’t changed out the filter yet. I just clicked 92k and will replace soon. Thanks all for watching!

philztheone says:

Well done! I liked your two funnels solution. Very clever. Did you replace the transmission filter? I see that Acura calls for the filter and fluid to be changed at 90k. Thanks.

Young Song says:

Do not use ATF Z1’s fluid,

SuperTejisandhu says:

put lollipop down and then go counter.clock wise

lollipopmyfavor says:

i couldn’t get the drain bolt open, shall i use a 3/8 or 1/2 in breaker bar? counter-clock wise? it’s a 2004 TL

joneill1811 says:

nvm… all TL yrs are great im biased i have a type s

Ulysses Del Mal says:

WHY NOT 2006?

joneill1811 says:

buy a 2007-2008 tl type s lol

Ulysses Del Mal says:

what do you mean???

joneill1811 says:

dont settle for less get a type s

Ulysses Del Mal says:

I wanna buy a Acura tl 2006. Is really good this car???

TheMotor29 says:

you really dont need to remove or loosen fuze box. on my 2006 i can reach 17mm bolt just fine. good choice of tranny fluid too…..i use type f in mine. i have firmer shifts now and no slipping. honda fluid wears the clutchs out too fast by letting them slip way to much. if your a pansy and like to have smooth shifts…use honda fluid…if your into performance and want your tranny to last..use type F.

onza04 says:

I’m using REDLINE instead of acrua Z1’s fluid. Specifically Red Line Oil Racing ATF and Lightweight Racing ATF. If you want more info go check out acurazineDOTcom and do some searching 🙂

N1NE109 says:

good video but that does not look like atf-z1 fluid…not supposed to use regular fluid.
