What a stupid design. After 4 to 5 batteries replacing you can kiss all the plastics and clips falling apart. You don't see many Japanese or Korean cars have to do all those things. It is a joke.

Thanks for a well thought out video. Watched it a couple of times and changed the battery in my wife’s 2020 XC40 T5 easily. It really wasn’t hard at all, but I am a trained motorcycle mechanic. Folks complaining about this design should go work on a motorcycle! That will give you new appreciation for this design.
Tip: two of the rubber grommets that hold the airbox popped out when I removed it. Make sure account for all three before you reassemble.
