My coworker has one of these for his long commute. Absolutely reliable. His only beef is that it's tiny and get push around with the road wind and big trucks. Overall it seems very reliable with minimal issues.

I was going to by one for my 17yr old after watching your video about them.. he wasn't thrilled… i drove one with about 200k on it and I was not really feeling it… also considered the Honda fit. We wanted a manual though and you said go for the bulletproof automatic. We ended up buying a 2003 Pontiac Vibe GT.
It was a perfect fit for us!

These are the Toyota Tercel from the 90's.
My friends in college (2008) were drunk and made a video called "6 Dudes 1 Yaris". The designated driver was driving a 2 door Yaris and fit 5 other people in that car. All they were doing was making stupid drunk comments/jokes while the Yaris driver drove them home. Car became a meme for us before meme's existed and was an absolute tank. I'll always remember that story and that car.
Thanks, as usual a very informative video. I have a competitive car to this, the Honda Fit. Another amazing car. Going on 300K miles now. This class of car is very under represented in the USA. But lots of them in Europe, where they don’t need an F 250 to go and get a bag of groceries or pick up a kid or 3 from school. These little cars do this just fine. I just bought a new 2026 Prius LE. Another great little car.
Great cars! I’ve daily’d my MT 05 XB for 14 years now, solid car. They don’t make a ton of power but are a blast to drive and will make you a faster driver when you drive your fun cars.
