Hell Scotty when you made the remark about Cars are costing more than a house, that hit me that is actually true. I would like to purchase a C8 Corvette and that would outdo what I paid for my house that I am living in right now. WOW
Very few people can save money today so a balloon payment at the end is a bad idea for the buyer and a way for Toyota to take your house when you can't pay up.

There is no sale. If their is, it’s because dealerships create this illusion that new and used car prices are low because this pandemic caused them to lose business. In reality new and used prices have gotten higher because people now want to buy.
New car prices in general through out the years have always stayed about the same. They never really gotten expensive. This is due to technology and materials getting cheaper to produce. For example, a new laptop of the year that costs 1,500 to make. If that laptop gets built in 2 more years, that laptops technology has gotten cheaper to produce, making the laptop as a whole more cheaper to by. Yes their is packages that drive up the total costs but those technologies are still pretty new, like multiple camera parking assist, but what ever made it to “standard” is now pretty cheap.
What makes cars more expensive compared to the 2000s, 90s, 80s, 70s and so on is that the money is INFLATING. But the value of cars have always stayed about the same.

Got to admit I really like the new rav4 prime. They are making a great transition to electric.
Is this only for altimas? I have a 2014 Nissan Maxima and the transmission went bad on me at 65,300 miles. I had it replaced as of today I got the car back and cost me over 5,000 total. Has a cvt transmission

Still want a Nissan ? Lease it or if you buy one, get rid of it around 90,000 miles or six years.
