Buff Barnaby says:

I saved $70 by getting my battery at Costco VS Autozone (3 months ago) $99 VS $170 SAME warranty length ! Got my tires about 2 months ago online from Walmart because I knew prices were going up.
I paid $63 and I just checked and they are $83 and OUT OF STOCK !
(They were as low as $61 before I got mine)

SM says:

I work at a tire and lube shop, I remember when our supplier for the plastic Ford plugs apparently milled down their plugs by millimeters, which sounded ok until we had most of our Ford trucks pop that plug on the road, spill all their oil and then their engines seized. If you buy a Ford, make sure it doesn’t have that stupid plastic plug

My Alternator just went on my 2020 corolla se, been waiting about a month for them to get me a new one up here in Canada. Any one else have similar issue?

william server says:

I am 44 and have owned around 15 cars. Only one of them had a battery go bad

matthew King says:

It went down ages ago Scotty.

mark price says:

A lot of the problems with todays batteries stem from so much crap running after the car shuts off and draining down the battery. At the time when cars stronger amps/cranking power they downsize to save a few bucks

Teener Meener says:

Cause they lost there pride when they started making the cars here.

Jack O'Neil says:

I strongly agree Scotty. When my father finally had enough of the Used Car business (60 Years) he was the longest running used Car dealer in Oregon. He has been the president of the Oregon Independent Auto Dealers Association for many years and took crooked cars dealers as a personal affront and did what he could to help eliminate crooked car dealers, and the only lower scum than the dirtiest in the car business I saw, were politicians, attorneys and the occasional psychopathic Mafioso.
However, due to competition and word of mouth, the worst of the crooked car dealers generally don't last more than a couple of years, so best to look for old timers with an honest reputation.

D. E. N says:

I bought a new 2004 Dodge Dakota V8. The battery in that truck lasted 8 years.

Efren Rivera says:

Extremely dirty business

D. E. N says:

A battery is a easily replaceable component.

asphalt hedgehog says:

As a colleague of mine always told the customers: do you want it to be reliable or computer controlled?
