In this quick guide I show you how you can remove, inspect/replace a PCV Valve on a Mk I Peugeot 208 car. The one shown here is applicable for the 1.0 and 1.2 Puretech engines, and also some other Stellantis models such as Citroen C1/C3.
You do not have to remove the air filter box, it does give better access to the valve, though it’s fairly easy to get to anyway, as I show in detail. It’s important to ensure correct operation of the PCV valve, inspect it carefully to make sure it’s intact and has no cracks or damage. It’s advisable to clean the valve and the housing on the side of the engine. Excessive oil/grease can inhibit the PCV operation or cause leaks. In some cases you might have to replace the part with a new one.

Buenas tengo una pregunta, en mi 1.2vti peugeot 2008 gasolina tres cilindros, en los talleres y concesionarios me aparece y me dicen que la pcv va integrada en la tapa de balancines, que no se puede hacer lo que has hecho tú porque va sellada, es esto posible? es que la tapa me sale por 160€ y la pcv esta la encontré por 12/14€, la cosa es que pueda hacer lo mismo que tú ya que el motor quema aceite y lo saca por el escape. gracias!

Hi thanks for posting need to do this job on a 2020 Opel/ Vauxhall corsa F puretech 1.2 T engine .on checking I notice valve is not located where you show on Peugeot .if possible could you let me know where to find this valve on the afore mentioned car and if it is a diy job ,thanks a lot

I already changed Pistons and rings now I have P0420 Code and I changed plugs and coils after that changed all injectors and cleaning process of catalytic converter. The code comes after 50-60km so i changed both oxygen sensors , same code again.
Engine works fine but corbon showing at the oxygen sensor and on the Plugs and a little on the petroleum injectors.
Any idea how to fix?
I already bought a new catalytic converter but did not installed.

I got a 2015 1.2puretech ds3 on 134.000 km. Car burns a liter of oil every 1000 km. Could this valve clogged or doesnt work and it could be de root cause? Or smth else anybody know a solition at least for decreasing that oil consuption.
Unrelated to this video, I bought the Godox iT30 flash for the Fuji X100VI and it works great, except when I lock the settings and the flash touches my forehead for more than two seconds it unlocks and the settings are all over the place, there’s a firmware update to resolve the issue, but I just can’t get the download to work, it’s beyond frustrating. I’m using a windows computer, can you give me some guidance? Thank you.
