I've found from personal experience, you need to take the sun damage off the lens. This simple and doesn't take a lot of time. 1/ wash then down with straight detergent 2/ get some tooth paste doesn't mater what flavour. Low price is best. This is simply a polishing paste. 3/Place a reasonable sized dollop on the lens. 4/ Using a ball shaped fibreglass polishing device polish the lens 5/ wash off the paste, complete a second time if you think it needs it. Give it a good wash and make it dry. Then get insect repellent with a high level of DEET in it, spray on and wipe immediately with a dry paper towel. When completed you should see a yellow fluid on the paper. Leave it dry out of the sun for a few hours. And with the above up-grade you'll be genuinely amazed at the difference. Other sites tell you to use all sorts of expensive products, like save your money guys
