My dad has a 4runner and the gas peddle is loose and when you drive it, it
takes awhile to pick up speed especially on the highway, he blames it on
the engine saying it’s old but my common sense says no considering it’s
running fine with minor issues. Any ideas on what the problem can be
Thank you! Easy job i ‘ll do the same on my 2000 4runner .
wuut ? After 330 000 miles lol … toyota ftw !!
I have a 93 pickup. The pedal is relatively firm to press, nothing like my
my moms Yukon or any other newer car I have driven. I find this makes it a
little harder to drive it since its a stick. Did changing the cable make
yours feel like a new car? Or was it just a little easier than before?
Thanks.
There are a few differnt cables depending on what year/model/options you
have. Go to ToyoMotorParts online and type in your VIN then go to
“accelerator link.” Your exact throttle cable will be listed.
I have a 1988 Toyota pickup SR5 and my A/C Is not blowing cold at all
instead it blowing warm air. can you do a video on how to recharge the
system? I have the 22RE motor as well
I have no experience with A/C systems. I do know you should not charge it
without figuring out why it’s not charged to begin with. If it’s empty then
it was leaking, if it’s leaking it’s illegal to recharge it without solving
the leak. Once that is complete, A/C systems are not really user
serviceable without the right equipment and knowledge.
Can you give me the part # of the throttle cable?
