Thanks for the video.
What is the part number for a 1998 Camry V6 with ABS?

JustLikeGreta says:

I am using an OEMTOOLS 27058 Front Wheel Drive Axle Pulley Attachment, still can't get it to budge

JustLikeGreta says:

The pry bars and the punch ain't gonna happen. Be prepared to have the fight of your life getting those shafts out of the tranny, especially if you're working in the ground.

nicewknd says:

I got mine out with OTC 6541 Pulling Hook and a Slide hammer.

Carlos Leiva says:

Great video,I have one question,Why you should we worry about not damaging the axel thread ,?you are replacing it anyway

Jonathan Palmer says:

It's so much easier too just disconnect the 3 bolts on the A arm

ALEX v Hernandez says:

Would this be the same process for a 1990 Camry? Also would all the torque spec be the same ?

Gor M says:

Can I replace a drive axle without ABS sensor ring with the one with ABS Ring? I have a 1996 camry 2.2l Thank you

Eric Quinn says:

When I was reinstalling the new cv axle I noticed there is a cup looking piece on the cv axle and looks like it should butt up against the transmission but I can not get the cv in any farther. What do I do?

Vermilion Tower says:

Is this procedure the same for a V6?

M Piper says:

Hi, do the car need an alignment after this job?

summerson1 says:

So the fluid that's coming out of the transaxle is trans fluid right?

Austin K says:

Great video but I would add, when you're reinstalling any suspension components you should put some grease/anti seize to avoid issues if you have to remove it again. You can possibly get away without it in warm climates but anywhere that sees snow and salt will have that seized in a matter of a few years

yelp reviewer says:

SKIP Pry bar method. USE the hammer and punch method. It works, the pry bar method does NOT work well with a regular car jack. save yourself some hard ache and time. GL! thx for the good video

Alex Negussie says:

That is really a great video as a customer I become aware of the technical part of the car, keep it up educating the public. I will go ahead and check you out.

2010calcetines says:

What would be different in this process for the 2007 model?
