Suzuki V-strom 650 Clutch Cable Replacement | How To | 1st Gen

How to replace the clutch cable on a 1st gen Suzuki V-strom 650. I don’t know when the last time it was replaced so I just wanted to do some preventative maintenance. Use a zip tie to put the top end of the old cable and the bottom end of the new one together so you can pull the new one through.

Nice job! These type of videos are very handy!
I had to replace the clutch actuator on mine, the part that holds the cable end was broken on one side. Turns out there's a procedure for adjusting it too.

You can adjust the clutch with the screw witch press on the push rod, there schould be a little play.
My cluchcable is 18 years and 185.000 km old
