The “German mod” is the TBKS setup, which requires removal of the clutch and other parts to install it. The “extended tensioner” is the Verslavy, which is a design made by a member of suzukisavage,com forum. The verslavy is fairly easy to install, and there is tons of info online if you want to make your own. Just google “suzuki savage verslavy”.

Who did this mod for you? Please post a link for instructions. I have the same bike and am concerned about the tensioner coming loose.
