It's crazy how rusted that part gets. I'm unsure why it gets so rusted, but mine is literally falling apart. I hope I can perform this same fix. Guess I'll order the bracket and give it a shot. Thanks for the video homie.
The video was great for the most part, but the middle section was hard to watch and from somebody who knows nothing about cars or lights, i had no clue what you were trying to show with your camera.
Thanks. Camera work a little tough but got all the details needed, including reusing the old plastic washers. worked great. I ordered my part from Amazon for G37 from Amazon 3rd party for like $25. Fit perfect, no need for zip tie 🙂 Thanks.

Just did this to my car this morning anyone looking for the right part# for this specific infiniti 05-06 g35x the part# ends in ac700
Screwing it back in is the hardest part. It took me an hour to do just one. I left the other one and quit.
