John Garrison says:

‘Tis a shame this bike didn’t make it to the USA…looks like it would have been a good ride!

PJ B says:

Hi Del, best wishes to you both from NZ, it's good to see your new bike.
Great to hear you'll be changing the chain and sprockets next, I was a little worried when i saw the condition of them. Another question, are you going to recondition the rear caliper as well?
Ride safe….

Steve Florey says:

Thanks Del and Penny. I like how you go about the job. The GSX I told you about went for just under $10,000 Australian dollars. I found an original exhaust system but could not get a center stand. When I went back the bike was sold. I will have to keep looking. I cannot wait for the next edition of Delboy's Garage. Look after each other.

Ottafish says:

Enjoying all the content at the moment. So good to follow on and keep learning. If there’s one thing I absolutely hate doing anything with, it’s brakes…. lines and bleeding. So watching and picking up small tips helps. Cheers guys. ❤

Kevin Hancock says:

I' don't tend to torque the banjo bolts these days just check for leaks. 23nm isn't a lot . You didn't say what torque you personally used for rear sprocket nuts ? I had an issue years ago on my 1400 (had since 2007 now ) I went by suzuki specs and rounded a thread (102nm) ….ended up going with 60nm and loctite . Not budged since . ….plus on torquing up engine bolts recently the top 155mm bolt /nut rounded on the threads..couldn't remove it either . Drilled it out awaiting new bolt .

Haynes suggested from tech department to go with 55nm and loctite. Its an m14 wheelie as the lower bolt is m16 (head) ……don't go to much into their torque specs ..I have the manual but I'm wary these days . Nice work. I came to nose lol

Gordon Joyce says:

Hi Del, please can you let me know what lubricant you used on the side panel grommets? Thank you

Tommy Murphy says:

hi del handy tip i found for anyone finding it a hassle to hold up the wheels when lining up spacers and axels i got a little air bag you can pump up its for use when your putting up doors so i put that under the wheel and pump it up and i can line up the wheel easy i,m recovering from broken wrists so its a help , got them in the center isle of lidls handy

Richard Fedeli says:

Nice job well done, brought back memories while i was watching mom 5 yrs ago your brake tips- Now i need to Move up with easier bleeder tool…Hope Ms Penny is Hopping around Easier…Our Best!

Kneedown69 says:

Such a handsome beast the gsx1400… Regret selling my k5 but I do have a zrx1200r in the garage… Love the muscle bikes…

Allan Mason says:

nice work again del and penny

Edge Dynamics says:

That was a good one. Love that disc. Look forward to the chain video.. Thanks again for free & interesting entertainment.

Andy J Richie says:

Just asking, but when putting new pads in, I have always used copper ease, is this the case

Phillip MacIver says:

Great fitting new parts, but being a Yorkshire lad I'd definately have looked at refacing those pads before binning them….

Shaun Glendinning says:

Strling job as alwaysDel!

mrjones-eastend says:

Hi Del, what's the make of the oversize socket set that you used?

madmarkuk1 says:

Really is another lovely bike mate. Hope PP is also feeling a little more comfortable 🙂

Lod dude says:

Don't throw the old pads, just pop one in your budgie's cage & advertise 'A nice pad on the South coast, going cheep.' Give the disc to a local milliner who's willing to take on the Oddjob, & Penny could have a brimful of really cutting ideas for Ascot this year.
The one good thing about BSE, it never affected us squirrels eh? Have a great w/e : )xx

Don Hutchins says:

Looks great as always, Del. I'm glad to hear the next project will be chain and sprockets… as I watched, I actually said out loud… 'Del, just change out those sprockets and chain while you are in there! ;)' … and so yeah, of course… already the plan. All my best Del, happy weekend to you.

Kamil Smagorzewski says:

How would you say this bike compares to XJR 1300? Which one do you prefer in terms of quality etc?

Paul Davis says:

Another great video Del ! your videos are a great reminder for keeping up good workshop practices and enjoyable at the same time ! Have a good weekend to yourself and Penny !
