Hey I just wanted to say thanks for this it helped me get the timing right.
Was backfiring thru the carb just had to pull the distributor and rotate it 1 tooth over to get the timing right

10° btdc with vacuum advance? is that correct? or should I remove the vacuum advance hose while performing the adjustment of distributor? thanks

I understand everything except the timing light part of it. Is it supposed to flash when the white mark on the flywheel is in the middle of the hole?
